Expect The Best From British Airways Business Class

British Airways has enjoyed a decades-long reputation for outstanding luxury service. The carrier is doing its best to uphold traditions with the latest iteration of British Airways Business Class - now branded as "Club World" service. Here's what you can expect if you opt to take British Airways Club on your next trip.

Advantages Of British Airways Business Class

The benefits of traveling Club World with British Airways starts well before you board your plane. You'll enjoy expedited care and a higher level of customer service throughout the check-in and security clearance process. British Airways staff are courteous and obliging to a fault, and they can help you with a huge variety of services.

The amenities in British Airway's Club class are top notch. Their fully-convertible seats are comfortable, and entertainment options are plentiful. You'll encounter more than enough to keep you happily distracted on even the longest flights. Food service is above and beyond, especially on flights departing from the UK and Europe. Most British Airways aircraft's feature a relatively unusual seat arrangement in their Club World section with individual seats angled off the aircraft center-line and facing either the front or rear of the plane.

British Airways Weaknesses

Unfortunately, not everything is perfect in British Airways Club World. Despite the carrier's best efforts at modernizing and upgrading the facilities available to their business-class travelers, it's impossible to hide the fact that British Airways is making do with an aging fleet of aircrafts. This leads to certain drawbacks (e.g. cramped restrooms) that simply can't be glossed over by installing new seats.

The odd seating arrangement mentioned above is pretty much a love-it-or-hate-it proposition for most travelers. While some people appreciate the novelty, others are severely disconcerted by this break from routine. There are a few individuals who even experience increased motion sickness symptoms while facing towards the rear of a moving vehicle.

While British Airways business class equivalent has its issues, it's a long way from the bottom of the industry. You'll have to give Club World a try for yourself to find out if you have a real problem with the angled seats or the older airplanes. If these sticking points don't sour you on the whole trip, you'll likely find British Airways Club World to be an excellent business class experience.
